Miguel Lazo, a batik designer from Isla Mujeres, Mexico is not a nice guy, he's violating international copyright laws by copying my designs, repainting them and selling to gallery owners who go to Mexico to buy art for resale. Such products were found in a gallery in Sacramento, CA, on Dec. 2011 by a friend who recognized my art and that of at least 2 other artist friends (Spanglish Arte Gallery). There's also a store in Isla called Astlan that's selling stolen art. If you know this guy or can give me any info on him, pls email me or post here. Thanks! Gracias!
ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions & Originals. It's size is the same of a playing cards, baseball cards and ATC, or Art Trading Cards: 2.5 x 3.5 inches. But ACEOS, contrary to ATCs, are sold, not traded. Subject and materials used to make them may vary; the only requirement is the size.
