Childhood seeds

hellos and thank yous, originally uploaded by Ella Pedersen.

This photo reminds me of my own childhood. Mom was a teacher and had her set of stamps to stamp her student's notebooks and homework. I was one of her students. I used to play with her teacher's stuffs. Just like now, nothing pleased me more than Nature and a table filled with arts and craft items.

Earthquakes....

I'm no longer a virgin. Yesterday in the wee hours I felt the ground shake for the first time here in California - or anywhere else. It was pretty neat. The epicenter was on the lake. I heard a boom and the room jerked back and forth. I just smiled, like a kid on a swing. I wanted to be hovering over the lake like a bird to see the patterns that might have formed on the water, and how far they went.

I'm no longer in a rut. I'm feeling creative again, tho days pass by incredibly fast. I have to look at the calendar all the time to identify what day of the week it is. It's all a fog. And I like it. I've relaxed. There's no rush, no need to spazz. It is what it is. I breathe, I sleep as much as I need to, and I dream cool dreams.

My husband just brought me fresh, made from scratch, delicious pumpkin bread and jasmine tea. Yes, it's the wee hours. So bohemian. It is what it is. Just relax. What will be will be. Big lists, little time, high demands. Breathe. Do what you can when you can, no worries.
